We recently visited Munich and enjoyed two lunches at Muenchner Suppenkueche (Soup Kitchen) branches including their original branch at Viktualienmarkt as well as this branch in the modern commerical complex along Sendlinger Strasse. Opening hours are 9am to 6pm daily (closed on Sundays).

Same great soups served up at this Muenchner Suppenkueche as well as a few prepackaged salad and sandwich options. There is a small section of indoor and outdoor seating. One of the things we liked about this branch was that there was no queue when we arrived at lunch time. This is much unlike their original branch which seems to always be very crowded.

During this lunch we enjoyed the same order we took at their original branch a few days earlier, a bowl of Carrot, Coconut u0026 Ginger soup as well as the Chili Con Carne. Both tasted flavourful and delicious, perfect for the cold winter days of December.

Would gladly repeat a meal at this Muenchner Suppenkueche the next time we are in Munich.

Great place, nice affordable food
Wide selection (not only various soups (local and international) but also salads and pasta)
Both me and kids liked it
Quiet place in the yard hidden from the busy street

Cozy, tiny place with very delicious meals! Would totally recommend the spot. Great choice of options for vegetarians too!
