Outstanding gem of a bar, amazingly knowledgeable and skilled bartender. Can’t wait to come back to Munich. The selection of rare or uncommon spirits is unrivalled. If you enjoy fine spirits and/or great cocktails definitely check this place out!

Absolutely superb place - the Vieux Carré is to die for, service is friendly, authentic and quick. Great atmosphere, too, and best of all: the music. Will definitely come back whenever I‘m in Munich.

This bar is supposed to open at 7pm each day. We came at seven and I was completely prepared to wait for a few minutes if the bar would not be ready yet. There was one person standing in the door and it was dark in the bar. This person ignored us even though we stand like 1 meter in front of him. Then he went inside. When we tried to go inside to ask if they will open or not, he just told us they are closed in very unpleasantn way and started ordering food by phone. Very rude, very disappointing. I will not to try to come again. We found another nice bar just around the corner.

No middle of the road reviews, you will either love this place or hate it. I find that if you are polite and have good manners you will enjoy this very much. He has Scotch that you simply won't find anywhere. Very unique. I would highly recommend a reservation. Just dropping in with a party of 4 will be met with disappointment. The place holds about 25 people as a maximum.

The decor is stunning, and the conversation is great. I never miss an opportunity to visit.

Amazing cocktails, even the non-alcoholic ones tasted really special and were delicious. It's super cozy and nicely decorated. The bartender was very friendly and when my friend wasn't sure what to order he asked her what she likes and created a cocktail to her taste. With the second round of drinks we got some nibbles on the house.

Loved the place. The bartender has amazing whiskey knowledge and a more amazing collection for those who understand whiskey! Great cocktails too

A small cozy cocktail bar with a New Orleans feel right from the lighting, decor (lights and fans) and the bartender.Go there for a good cocktail (there are other better places for beer). Don't hesitate to ask the bartender for his suggestions, he is helpful.

Since it is a small place, it tends to get full quickly, so reserve if you are a bigger group. Prices tend to be above Munich average, as you expect from a cocktail bar (around 10 to 12), but is well worth it.
