Love this place! Took subway in and back, was clean and felt safe. This place is so beautiful. We climbed to the top of St Peter's tower and the view of the city was phenomenal. The marketplace was very cool. Haufbrau house was great! The history of munich is so interesting. Must see!

Enjoyable to just sit there and soak in the atmosphere and the sun.

If I would give 0 stars I could. The line I had to take (S7 Wolfratshausen) wasn't shown on entrance at all. Turns out it was all the way at the bottom of the station which made me miss the, once in 30 minutes metro, I had to take. After waiting for 20 minutes for the next one, the DB decided to cancel the last 4 stops I had to travel (to Wolfratshausen). If you have the possibility to use another metro station in munich, DO IT! I had to take a totally different metro to another destination and travel by bus to Wolfratshausen which added a total of 40 minutes to my travel which I didn't have. Thanks Germany! Thanks Marienplatz! Thanks DB!

Neat setting. Watching the clock chime is an experience, though you have to wait for the whole sequence. Lots of interesting restaurants and shops around the "place". Definitely worth a visit.

This is a u bahn station serving Marienplatze, Munich. This station is bit different and unique than the rest of the u bahn stations in its more modern looking architecture. It is extremely satisfying to observe the interior of this station and highly recommend to add this place to your itinerary if you're a tourist.
