Koi is a top address for Asian food in Munich, on Wittelsbacherplatz. The interior of the restaurant is one of the most beautiful in Munich - everything dark, elegant, high ceilings with gallery.
The food is unfortunately very expensive, you rarely get away with less than 100 euros per person (with drinks and appetizers). The Wagyu beef costs 132 euros (300 grams). For this, the quality is 100% right and it is very tasty. I recommend as starters / to share the delicious calamari and baby spinach. Also sushi are very good - but only the vegetarian sushi are unspectacular. The drinks are special and there are own creations at Koi.
In the evening, a DJ provides a good atmosphere. The audience is partly chic, partly mixed.
The restaurant has the same owners as the neighboring Rocca Riviera.
