Me and my wife in the short stay of 2 months in Munich had the opportunity :D to visit emergency department.
We were happy with the way we were looked after. Both the diagnosis and treatment were fast and well structured.
Its a big hospital and we saw a forever queue of emergency patients so in my opinion it is natural that non life threatening emergency are not given first priority hence possibly so many negative reviews.

My father was having an operation at this hospital as a private patient. We’ve paid a very large sum (tens of thousands) and the medical staff were very good. However, the reception was extremely rude and unhelpful, barking at us that they don’t speak English. I’m sorry but they do speak perfect English while accepting international patients and taking a payment, why can’t they speak basic English at the very first point - the reception?! We couldn’t get in to see my father who desperately needed translation and were rudely spoken to while trying to fill the forms in German language. Having a relative at the hospital is a very traumatic experience and this particular hospital absolutely doesn’t care about it’s patients or their families.

EXTREMELY RUDE AND HORRIBLE STAFF AT HNO! After a traumatic event when I got attacked and beaten up, I went to this hospital bcs of my doctor. At the HNO, the staff too my info, then told me that I have to wait in the hospital for 5 hours. After a long wait with broken nose, they got really rude, provocative and confrontational and refused to give me service even after 5 hours! A staff, blonde girl started yelling at me and tell me you are just a patient and we dont need to do anything for you. Now they have opened themselves for a lawsuit. Absolutely garbage of a hospital! ????

1. I had a sprained elbow. I arrived at the emergency room at 10:30 PM and saw the doctor until 7:00 AM. 8 hours waiting for just an X-ray and a plaster cast.
2. They mistook my elbow for my wrist when they put on the cast. Fortunately, I correct them.

After having whole night strong pain in my stomach, I decided to go to the hospital on Saturday. The last week I had more or less mild pain which I was thinking because of pregnancy situation, it's normal to have some scratches and will be gone. At 10:15 I arrived, by a call from emergency to Departements, the women specialist didn't want to accept me. I gave pressure that I will not go unless to be sure I and baby are fine. A surgeon accepted me, after an hour I was checked and he was suspicious for appendix and Bladder and I should do an O.P. I didn't want because I got the feeling that they are not sure. Now they send me for women specialist to be sure the the pregnancy is normal because I got no appointment to do first check ups. as an emergency case, It took 9 hours until, to be checked. I was not allowed to eat and drink!!!!! As a woman which has 2 lives at a time, 9 hours without eating and drinking, waiting to be just checked was the most worst service a hospital can offer!!! It looks like, They do it by intend to avoid accepting patients at the weekend!!!! We were 5 patients, and all of us waiting long there. Even I got a panic attack by lack of blood sugar, still not important for them!!!! And emphasis of not eating! Are you crazy??? when the doctor came, I was not the emergency case, the one who did beauty O.P. was emergant!!! (She said, she is there because the hospital called her to come! The chiefoberarzt did the O.P himself for her). This is not an emergency service!!!!!! Travel to not developed countries to learn how to give service even when there are really a lot of patients!!! You lack something in your moral as doctors, when you want to teach people not to come on Saturday!!!!! Your apologies afterwards meant nothing for me!!!! Change the system of old 60 years!!!!

Worst health service ever. 3h waiting at the urgency waiting room before being attended, then 3 more for a blood analysis. Lack of personal and interest, typical german service.

Extremely rude nurses and staff! They treat you like you are not important ( shout at you, arrive late). This place is extremely depressing and all they care about is money. We follow weekly appointments , and as soon as we enter the room the nurse comes and says "YOU HAVE TO PAY". Its happens every single time, as if i will run away and not pay?! . I dont understand this rule ( why not make a pre payment rule). And not to mention that some of the nurses and doctors are racist. If you are not german then expect to be treated differently. I hate this place (rude, bad customer service, everything horrible) edit: i went there this year again for dialysis and i could tell that the place has become much worse they gave us a nurse who is from morroco came in and was extremely rude. Pulling the catheter very hard and leaved extra blood in the pipes. We told her dont do that she said this is not your country and i wont come to you in the next appointment. Good riddance. Overall i can tell covid has affected the quality , hygiene and service of this hospital. Please hire nurses who know HOW to do their jobs well.
