I dug this place! (“dug” means liked in an interesting way for nonnative English speakers) this place reminded me of staying at my grandparents parents house. Clean, quiet room, staff genuinely concerned that our family was accommodated and they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The location was excellent (near the grocery store, pharmacy, shopping, restaurants and train station). But overall the staff treating us with kindness put this place on top. Thank you.

Quite a basic hotel but was perfect for the price. Hotel staff were very friendly, location was excellent.

Clean, modern, lots of space, reasonably priced in the heart of the city.

Good location, beds, linens, towels. Rooms are dated. Bathrooms are small but ok.
Bad - service lady was very rude (breakfast every day). The reception desk has no service available (there is a person there but they don't care about your stay experience).
They put us right above the restaurant and it's very loud ... no AC in the hotel so we had to keep the windows open and the noise is too much. Smokers right down stairs and the cigarette smoke comes in the windows.
The restaurant leaves their chairs out all night so passers by sit, smoke, chat, argue, and sometimes just make noise at 2-4 am.
On the 3rd day we changed hotels. This is the worst hotel we have been in... ever. I don't think We have slept in 3 days.

Good location at the city center close to a metro station. Nice, quiet rooms with wifi but without any other extras (for example a safe or boiler for coffee). Overall good value for money for a short stay in Munchen.

Upon arrival, I greeted the front desk with a tradition German saying. The woman laughed at me. The room is interesting in size and shape. I'm not sure if it was just our room or if all of them were that way, but certainly not spacious in any way. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower was not draining so I pulled the stopped out and it was full of years worth of hair. There were specs of blood also present in the shower and about a fist sized portion of the wall was missing in the bathroom. The breakfast was good by German standard. When we booked, it said they had WiFi but it failed to say it was 4 euro an hour. Upon arrival, it spelled like a frat house and looked like there were puddles of beer in the dining area. Maybe this was a bad experience we had, or maybe it is like this all the time... We certainly will not give it another chance to find out.

Needed to cancel the stay at this "hotel" five months upfront because of the travel ban imposed because of Covid-19. Hotel is very rigid and has a "no cancellation fee" even five months in advance. So all the money is lost because of the no-show policy in which we have no hand in!
