Listen, don't stay here. You will regret it. The prices are high and you don't get much from the room. You would he better off at Buddy hotel across the street. They at least have A/C and in room coffee machines. The rooms either have an A/C or windows that open. On the 5th floor, station facing side, the windows open.

The night club downstairs and constant emergency sirens make the stay quite uncomfortable. The elevator lift was out several times over several days. Naturally it was out when checking in and out so carried heavy luggage down 5 flights of stairs.

The toilet likes to randomly continue running. The safe was closed and couldn't get someone to reset it. The room felt small although most European rooms are smaller.

The location is great at Karlsplatz station near all the main attractions, Central train and bus stations. The beds were okay. The water heats quickly.

Very coinvent location close to downtown Munich. The room itself was clean but the washroom facilities were not. Indeed, the douche was broken in our washroom and hotel staff wanted to fix it during our time there!. We we arrived the hotel for the first time, the door was closed and there was not anyone at the reception. We had to call the reception until someone opened the door for us. overall a good place for the money, specially the location is fantastic.

No window, no air conditioning, no internet, toilet ???? keeps flushing 24 hrs it makes a lot of noise. It makes me really sad because I called twice to say I wanted a working room where I can prepare my presentation in the morning and I also needed an iron to get ready for my conference - none of this was here and the reception put me in the CLOSET. It’s frightening that hotels even have rooms like this, I’m not even sure this is legal in Germany. My company paid 100 euro and I don’t think I’ve ever spend a night in a place like this. The worst part is not having air so I had to sleep with the hotel door open all night.

It said 24-hour reception on booking.com. My partner needed to travel to Munich at last minute for an emergency appointment at a consulate there. So the hotel gave me the option to ask for a check-in time for after 1am. So I book the hotel. My partner then calls the hotel receptionist confirming his late arrival as this is a 24-hour reception. The receptionist, whom I guess is Hungarian or Hungarian-German, was super rude and said there is only check-in until 9pm even thought there is 24/7 reception service. He says it's our problem and we are the ones who pressed the button. I guess he sees my partner's foreign name and thinks he can get away with being a rude person. What awful customer service. No flexibility whatsoever and they can just withhold our money like that???? Nothing justifies this rude behavior at all. I want my money back. 200 euros gone because of this rude hotel staff member. How dare you!!!!!!

Everything negative that you read about the (older) male staff member at the hotel is entirely accurate. I literally waited one hour for him to show up, and then he blamed it on me for not calling the phone number because he was going grocery shopping or something (during the middle of his work shift). I do not have German telephone and also this place is not on WhatsApp. Furthermore, he did not even have the consideration to leave a sign saying to call; with no information, you would assume that the phone at the front desk would just ring and be useless (it's like you are calling yourself). He is extremely arrogant and rude. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in world and in dozens of different countries. I have never met such an entitled hotel staff worker. It is almost like I am begging him to stay here, and he also threatened to take my money.

I booked Hotel Daniel for the night because my flight was cancelled. I received an email saying that the checkin time was until 21:00. unfortunately I had booked after 9pm already... Hotel Daniel not only refused my checkin but also does not want to refund my money. Why let anyone book the hotel if the access is being denied? isn't this fraud?!

I just spent 2 weeks at the Daniel Hotel in Munich. The location is ideal, in the center of downtown and easily accessible to Sendlinger Tor, Marienplatz, and the Hauptbahnhof. The hotel is two doors down from a great bakery and cafe and next to a fantastic restaurant. Shops and stores close at the Ubahn station and easy access to the Sbahn system. They are very reasonable, very clean and the staff is friendly. A good experience for the money.
