It's an awesome, brand new hotel. Bright, spacious, rooms are nicely done, convenient location next to the S1 line.

Great location! Supermarket, train, bus and tram stations are right outside the hotel. The reception staff is very courteous and helpful. Mike Patz and his team take excellent care to give you a comfortable stay. There is a nice kids play room which my son really enjoyed. We stayed for a month and had a very nice experience. If you are new to the city/country and are looking for a long stay place, then you must consider this hotel.

Rooms are perfect for families. The facilities too. But the people in the reception were not helpful at all and rude and arrogant. They have to know working with tourists means providing information.
Moreover the quality of cleanliness is very poor. And please change these curtains!!
And a tip for the families to follow, when they say there are strollers available, it is up to luck to find them available. For us it was a very important issue cause we had traveled with our car and due to space we decided not to take our stroller. We relyed on the fact, being told that there are strollers in the hotel. But there are only 2 of them in front of the reception and anybody can use them, you can't book them. So there were days with no stroller.
Very inconvenient for 2 babies..
The area is OK, there is everything you need and connected with u3 which goes directly to the center and to the most important stops in Munich!

Clean rooms, enough space and soundproof.
Excellent value for the money.

The only thing that could be improved is the lack of basic toiletries like toothpaste.

Garage is excellent, albeit at an extra cost.

We stayed at Harry's home Munich on the 5th of October 2021. We booked two nights in advance and asked for a babybed since we were traveling with our 10,5 month old daughter. We got a babybed with a very high mattress which is only safe for a newborn up until about 5 months. After that you put it lower to ensure your baby doesn't climbe out and falls down. Since our baby is a serious climber and could easily injure herself falling out of this bed we asked for another. They told us this was the only babybed and all the others were broken. Then I asked for a hexkey because you can easily lower is yourself (it was a standard IKEA bed which you can montage in two different hights, one newborn and one for older babies). They didn't have the right one. So I went out in to the city to find anything but it was almost closing time. I couldn't find the right hexkey so we had to put a mattress down on the ground next to the babybed to ensure she wouldn't injure too much whilst falling out. Ofcourse we didn't want to stay another night because the hotel just couldn't give us a safe baby bed.

When I went to check-out the next day I still had to pay for two nights (340 euro). They said they gave us discount because they didn't charge for a pet (we didn't have a pet....) or the parking for the day we didn't stay(15 euro per day). So that's a 'discount' of 15 euro for a car we didn't park there because we were already gone. They told us to arrange something with booking.com because they are our booking agancy, but booking.com said that there isn't anything they can do.

Needless to say that we won't be back here or with booking.com. we understand that there isn't always a right babybed available, but then don't call yourself 'the family hotel' or don't want to work something out.
