Ich werde die Review auf Englisch schreiben, weil es scheint, dass viele andere dasselbe getan haben.

Overall a good experience, the staff is friendly and willing to show the ropes to newbies. The price isn't shabby (I'm paying 21,90 € for a whole year). The atmosphere is wonderful, usually when I drop by it isn't crowded, although to be fair I mostly drop by at the late hours like 9 PM.
Wide range of devices to fit all your needs ;).
So far I've been enjoying my stay!

Updated review:

After seeing other FitStar branches, and after the renovation this branch deserves a better review.

+ A lot of equipments in the gym
+ Friendly staff
+ Open 24/7
+ Weights are organised

- Extremely crowded at peak times.
- Stinks at peak hours.
- No air conditioning/very bad air conditioning
- you card will be deactivated “access denied” if you share your own opinion in google.

They extend my contract without my permission over and over again!!! I sent many emails to the customer service, but nobody tried to solve the problem. Don’t choose this fitness studio, unless you want to donate your money to them!!!

Wow. The worst customer service on time. I cancelled my contract and they wrote me that my contract is cancelled by November. It’s written! Without any permission they just extended my contract! Without me even asking for it. I asked about the lockdown situation and if I get anything back. They never intended to give anything back and now my contract is extended to 2022? I cancelled my contract in 2020!

The most unprofessional company. This was my Second membership with them. I had to move and then came back to the city. And i decided to subscribe again because their customer service used to be great. But during corona this company turned into a nightmare. They definitely lost a customer for good and this one would rather pay more than just using their membership ever again. At the end a membership at a little more expensive place will turn out cheaper. So please be careful.

A very good and solid gym. I also want to note that Ben is a fabulous trainer and coach. Just the right combination of push and encouragement. He is a phenomenal person and I will recommend him and any of his colleagues for anybody for the good work.

I really like this gym and the whole net of this gym in the city. Always very clean, good equipment. Apart of weights, I attend group classes like zumba, bodypump, bodyattack. Good trainers. Recommend !

The studio and setup inside is ‚fine‘.

Getting out of the contract with view to the lockdown(s) was probably the biggest hustle I have experienced in my personal history of dealing with customer service and contracts. I would have wished for an actual compromise. Within a very unclear COVID Situation I tried to leave the contract. fit Stars solutions to their gym closure was to extend my contract which was a service I neither requested or wanted. After this did not work (leaving throughout COVID), I even moved to Berlin and still I could not leave my contract: There is 1 studio over here that does not fit my needs and is still too far to walk to and I was forced to pay a whole extra year. In addition, the Customer Service always argued as if fit star was a private person suffering. Corona hit us all, and as any other businesses world wide I don’t think loyal Clients should pay as ‚heroes‘ for a big profitable chain. To argue like this, is completely ridiculous. A gym closes, but membership fees continue? Never again. And pls work on your mindset and customer employees. After all this i still received sales phrases of ‚we are Sport people and want to keep you as a customer.‘ wow. I tried evth to find a solution and now I paid an extra year for nothing :) never again.
