I stayed there in 1983; it was horrible. (Was previously warned to avoid by fellow backpackers, but all else was booked out.) But as I hope to return to Munich soon, I will stay there again u0026 hopefully much has changed for the better. ????

Without a question the worst hostel I've ever been to.
The bed bunk they gave me was so close to the ceiling that, when lying on it, my head was 20cm away from hitting the ceiling.
No WiFi in the bedroom, nor enough power plugs and the room and bathrooms were dirty as hell.
The staff simply didn't care.
I wonder how it's still open.

No problems finding a parking spot in the residential area. Easy Check in. Friendly staff. Slept in a room with 33 other people. Walls devided the room into accomodation Units with 2 bunk beds each. The room was in the attic (as ist was summer, it was very hot in there). The roof hit the feet of the guests in the upper beds. 3 narrow shower stalls. Bathroom cleanliness was ok. The breakfast was freh and satisfying.

This is a well appointed budget place although teenage and 20 something backpackers should know that this place is child friendly. Beds weren't very comfy and the showers down two flights of stairs but breakfast was good!

There is no elevator and there is only one plug in the room. The staff is correct but not very friendly. The breakfast is included and it's well provided.

It was the worst hostel I have ever been. Lack of wi-fi, lack of energy sockets, completely lack of culture. Security staff want to throw you out during the night for no reason. They did not even want to listen to ones arguments, just scream and threat you. Level of agression from the security stuff is beyond any imagination. I felt like I was living in jail. One of my friends was kicked out in the middle of night without any particular reason (there is an list of rules but secutrity stuff have their own).

Meals was also very bad in taste. You can use shower only to 22pm (Stuff locks them after this hour). If you have respect to your money and to yourself please do not choose this hostel.

This hostel was located in a relatively central residential location within Munich. Staff were knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. The establishment was located near a ubahn and bus stop, but to get to the airport, a connecting train would be required and takes about an hour in total to get there. Rooms were clean and the buildings were quiet despite having a large youth group staying there. Basic amenities were offered such as wifi and breakfast. Wifi was available only in the main building. Good experience, would visit again.
