Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Aktuell braucht man eine ausgedruckte Reservierung und kann nur den halben Tag bleiben. Spinthe sind kostenlos und werden mit Schlüssel zur Verfügung gestellt. Jacken und Taschen müssen draussen bleiben dafür kann man die Wasserflasche mit reinnehmen. Es gibt keine Ausleihe, jedoch kann man kostenlos vor Ort einscannen und sich auf dem stick die Scans mitnehmen. Der eine Stern abzug sind die Stühle die sich drehen und wenn man sich ein wenig bewegt geräuschvoll an den Tisch knallen. Es gibt genug Tische mit Steckdosen und Wlan funktionierte (zumindest bei mir) auch einwandfrei.

Ich bin sehr oft hier zum Arbeiten, weil ich gleich ums Eck wohne.

Leider hat sich seit der Pandemie alles verschlechtert: Man muss sich für jeden Tag aufwendig online für einen der wenigen Plätze anmelden, sich jeden Tag einen neuen 2G-Stempel holen und kann nur für je vier Stunden einen Platz mieten. Dabei bleiben sehr viele Plätze häufig unbesetzt.

Zudem bemühen sich die Mitarbeiter nicht darum, sich leise zu unterhalten, sondern reden in normaler Lautstärke, so dass man sich nicht richtig konzentrieren kann und sind (bis auf einen Mitarbeiter) wenig freundlich.

Wirklich schade, denn die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr schön und die Speisen in der Deutsche-Museums-Kantine zwar teuer, aber lecker.

Diese Rezension richtet sich an Studenten die einen Platz zum lernen suchen.
Die leerste Bibliotheken die ich zum lernen besucht habe. Auch zur Prüfungszeit viele freie Plätze. Manche Tische auch mit Steckdosen (USB und normale Dose).
Alternativ gibt's hinten im Lesesaal spezielle Laptop-Schließfächer mit Steckdose innen. (Für z.B. die Mittagspause)
Nicht ganz so ruhig wie z.b. Stabi. Das Personal redet teilweise mit normaler Lautstärke (kommt aber selten vor). Stühle sind eher alt aber dennoch bequem. Auch hier gibt es eduroam. Bücher habe ich tatsächlich nicht verwendet.
Trotz der kleinen Mängel 4 Sterne weil man dennoch angenehm lernen kann und nie Stress hat früh einen Platz ergattern zu müssen.

Zu beachten: um 17 Uhr macht die Bibliothek schon zu.

Zur Zeit ist es sicher nicht angebracht das Museum zu besuchen. Während der Zeit des Umbaus, noch bis 2025, sind viele Abteilungen geschlossen oder nur eingeschränkt nutzbar.
Es gibt nichts Spektakuläres und vieles hat den Charme eines Vorbereitungsraumes in einem Gymnasium,z.B. Physikbereich.
Viele Bereiche sind lieblos und nicht sehr einladend z.B. Lego/Spieleabteilung oder die sog. Musikabteilung.
Auch die Sonderausstellung"Kaffee" war enttäuschend.
Also abwarten bis 2025 !!!
