Ambience and location is no doubt 10/10, especially for cooling mornings. With lots of space available, we don't feel claustraphobic nor rub shoulders with other customers.
Service, however, was slow, despite not having full capacity. We were without a menu for almost 10 minutes after we were allocated seats, and look kind of stupid because every other words we see from the menu board is in german. Saving grace was the server that attended to us, who happen to be an eye candy and sounds polite.
Food serving as usual is huge (the club sandwiches are probably 3 times of we had in SG) and price point isn't too expensive. I had sandwich that has chicken breast, avocado, tomato, and a garden of vegetables. My wife enjoyed her scramble egg (which usually she would) but has complaints over the pancakes. Roasted potatoes are marvellous, would have ordered a 2nd round if not for the fact that my belly is bursting.
Coffee unfortunately is not to my liking (not saying that its lousy). The americano is kind of acidic and not bodied enough for my tastebud.
