It was my first taste of Malaysian food and totally loved it! The guidance we got on the food from Kiren u0026 the level of detail in the dishes and taste speaks a lot for the passion they have for food. It was love at first bite for me and I’m sure I’ll keep coming back here and visit Malaysia too ????

Being a Malaysian, I’ve been searching for authentic Malaysian food since I moved to Europe. My husband and I went to Champor twice during our holiday in Munich. I’ve to say that the foods at Champor definitely eased all my cravings and reminded me of lots of childhood memories back home in Malaysia. The sambal prawns, Nonya chicken curry and roti canai are on top of my list! Especially the spiciness in the sambal and curry is truly authentic - the real taste of Malaysia!

A big thank you to Kiren and the staff for the great hospitality and made us feel home. Kiren did her best to bring the best dishes to the table, which I really appreciated.

I highly recommend Champor if you’re looking for authentic Malaysian food. Dinner time can be quite busy at the restaurant, make sure you book a table before you make a trip there!

Sedapnya makanan ni!! Sadly, the only restaurant specialising in (pen)insular Southeast-Asian food in Munich but at least it's reeeeally good and flavorful. Love that it's actually spicy, too. Yes, it's definitely pricey but please keep in mind this is not your "Asia-Imbiss" around the corner and you'd pay at least as much for similar high-quality cuisine from other countries in Munich. Meat and ingredients in general seem to be locally sourced and very fresh. If you have your eyes on a specific item on the menu (such as duck or the limited dishes), I'd recommend to enquire in advance about availability.

A little pricey but tasty. The curry based dished are highly recommended.

As a Malaysian it was really difficult to find an authentic Malaysian restaurant in Europe, being far away from home for months it would make you miss home. However, when you do find one you’ll feel just at home. Champor did not disappoint me, the owner who is Malaysian herself was very warm and welcoming, and she’s attentive and would recommend some of the best food you’ll ever have. The ambience of the restaurant and the food was perfect to the T, if I’m ever back in Munich, I’ll definitely stop by again. For those who love spicy and delicious Malaysian food, I can’t recommend this place enough♥️

As a Malaysian living abroad, this restaurant just transferred me back to Malaysia through their food. 100% authentic Malaysian food. From the flavor to the spiciness - so delicious. Its a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. The owner is from Penang. Definitely will come back here again when I'm in Munich.

The Malaysia Roti Canai is a must try dish’s the flatbread is light, but crispy. We had spicy wantan as appetiser. It is not really spicy as expected. For main courses, we had prawn and beef. The prawn is using local Malaysia seasoning which you will feel the strong taste and spiciness. If you want something local and are able to eat spicy, go for it! You do not get disappointed.
