After reviewing other posts I was dreading this campsite. However it wasn't that bad, been in worse. Was quieter than I thought it would be, especially as it was Oktoberfest.
However extremely expensive, 3 nights was 150 euros then you had to pay for warm water and showers etc.
Luckily we were self contained in out motorhome and had prepared ourselves.
The staff were friendly enough, and getting to Munich via bus and metro was easy. We bought our tickets from the campsite.

Really nice camping, it has a supermarket and small restaurant. It's really quiet at night, even though it's really near the city center. There is a dryer, washing machine and kitchen that you have to pay for. Unfortunately, you have to ask for electricity if you're planning to stay in a tent and pay extra for it, but if you arrive late in the evening you may have to wait until morning. Also, you have to pay for hot water when washing dishes and when showering.

The place is huge, no reservation needed for Campers, the Toilette were not so clean, and the shower area is not clean as wanted, you have to pay 2€ for 1 Token that could provide warm water for 8 minutes. Sanitary Area could be more cleaner and modern then all is well.

Great location. 10 minute walk for the tube to the city of Munich. Only issue was i had a cold shower because i had no coins to put in the meter for a shower. A hot shower should be part of the daily charge It needs updating.

This is not the camp you are looking for!
For some reason the place description never says that after paying a hefty sum just to sleep soundly in Bavaria where camping is as always VERBOTEN, pretty much forcing you hand to pay for hotel or campsite, you ALSO need to pay for HOT WATER in the shower.

Clown business model thank you but no thank you.

An experience that makes you re-think your life and gives you the urge to work towards your private place of your choice.

On your way out you will high-five with your loved one or friend that you survived the place.

The camp site is huge, the toilet facilities are disgusting and there are probably over 1000 people - at least - at the camp at any given time.

It’s rather a survival- option than anything nice experience.
The reception was open fairly late night, after 10pm for check-in, thus the extra star rating given as a plus, compared to the rest of the german campings.

All in all, use it if you want or need a cheap-as-possible option but not if you are looking for an anything remotely nice outdoor experience.

Central located to the city in beautiful surroundings next to the river. Small supermarket. Fairly quiet. Rundown sanitary facilities that need cleaning (must pay for hot water), small pitches, no WiFi (which you have to pay for) except in reception area. Conclusion: overpriced for the offerings.
