I really enjoyed this place in the past however quality of food and service have changed to the worse lately. The burgers once were amazing, now they are only medium warm and dry and not spiced properly (not worth the high price). The service is horrible: I have been barked at by a waiter in the happy hour (yes, you may be stressed but don't be rude to a table of 10 people who will leave a holy lot of tips and who have done nothing to you), left sitting in the Wintergarden for over 20 minutes waiting for someone to take my order (no waiters were covering this area) and another waiter was really unfriendly when I was sitting outside with a friend. This once was my place to be but honestly I am not sure whether I would still recommend it. :/

The inside is super beautiful! Food is good but not amazing.
Beer and cappuccino are great!

tl;dr: okay food, good service, great location. Would return if I was in the vicinity.

Short rant before I write: we need to stop thinking only 5-star reviews mean good experiences. I'm guilty of this myself, and will change my future reviews accordingly.
The café has a lovely outside area in a relatively busy part of Munich, great for having a beer after some englischer Garten time or just people watching and having a good time.
We ordered burgers and a pizza. Burger was ok, nothing special. Nice touch with the roasted whole baby potatos. Salad was drenched in sauce and consisted basically of a forest of lettuce and ONE SLICE of tomato/cucumber.

Pizza was fine, if slightly thinner than I would have liked. Could have been served a bit hotter, but it was okay, really.

Service was quick enough and pleasant enough, nothing wrong on this front. The place was clean and prices are what you would expect for the neighborhood, perhaps even slightly on the cheaper side. I would come back here if I was around.

Edit 2022:
They became a lot worse… I don’t know why, breakfast offers are so much less than before, service does not even exist! If the owner does not want to pay for the staff they should make just self service. Since two times, people ignoring you, you cant order, when you order you get f.ng another dish… From cutest nicest place to worse place. Congratulations whatever happened in this place.

I really like this friendly cafe, where people have nice quality of food, drinks and service. From morning to night it can be the best selection for friendly meet ups. They have great sort of breakfast options with funny names.

It’s a damn good cafe near odeanplatz.
The food is quite good and the cocktails are better!!
They use quite funny names in their menu card - which I truly loved.
They have an indoor “outside seating” concept which I really liked.
The overall ambience is very nice and the place gives you a great and satisfying feeling by the end of it.

The cocktails are not that expensive and well made.

I would recommend this highly if you are around

Great atmosphere. Comfortable space outside and on the patio/terraza.
Good prices for pizzas, except for coffee/drinks.

It used to be a lovely place but now the waiter is super rude and the food isn’t that good. I felt attacked while trying to order my food today and left the place without ordering bec he was mean and simply walked away saying this is not McDonald’s, just bec I asked if they have fries :D Such a shame…
