Friendly staff, generous portion of food at very affordable price. Potato salad is a little bit sour and taste really good. Just be patient as it can get very busy.

Avoid. Went in at 9pm on a Friday evening to be told by a waiter holding 5 plates of food that their kitchen was closed. When challenged, we were told that residential zoning rules meant that they had to close at 10.30pm. Seems like a local place for locals only…

I walked in to this restaurant because when I looked in from the windows, I could see that it’s fill with happy local faces. I immediately got convinced by the atmosphere around the tables. What could be better than a local restaurant.

But… here’s what happened. The moment I sat down the waiter ask:” Where are you from!” In an slightly angry and annoyed tone. I replied: “I’m from Taiwan.” He then didn’t even look at me in the eye while taking my orders and didn’t seem happy during service. Meanwhile, he gave others very friendly and joyful welcome and interactions.

Perhaps it’s because I don’t speak Bavarian? but I can speak basic German. I didn’t understand why I got different attitude from others when I was interacting with smiles and politeness.

Good price for city center. Taste of food is not the best but worth the price. However, service could be more friendly with non-local people.

Decent place with decent food. Simple nice sausage portions. If you want wurst it's a good place to go

My girlfriend and I had a really enjoyable time here. The beers are tasty and the grilled sausages are delicious. It was crowded so we had to share a table with others, and it turned out to be a great way to meet locals and chat.

Good restaurant on a lovely square (Dreifältigkeitsplatz) near the Viktualienmarkt. Limited menu, though (mainly sausage-oriented). The older waiter we had was efficient, but not very talkative.

Great beer, great food and ambience. Very reasonably priced meals but can't say it was fulfilling. Perfect for a typical Bavarian experience. Staff was extremely friendly too!
