I called in March to book a June 1 tour of the factory. They told me I have to call 1 week before the tour to book it. So on May 25 i called to book the tour. I was told it's sold out. I told them I had followed the advice I was given by them and they said I should have called at the beginning of the week. This was to be one of the highlights of our trip. Ruined by incompetence and totally horrible communication.
We tried to get into a tour when we went to the BMW museum. We explained what had happened and they said they couldn't do anything about it. They also admitted that there is a backlog of people who ordered European delivery for the tour, so in reality, unless you ordered European delivery, forget about touring the factory in Munich.
