Really excellent, traditional German food. Had the schnitzel and potato and cucumber salad - simply excellent. Great, lively atmosphere and the hostesses were extremely attentive and added to the experience.

Reason for only 3 stars is the fact that they don’t accept VISA or MASTERCARD. So only Euros or some german card.
Otherwise very traditional. Friendly stuff. Tasty food.

1. Traditional German cuisine, quite a variety: seasonal food, vegetarian, grill, fisch, pork, ox, beef, chicken.
2. Super nice staff.
3. 4 tables outside, which face the pedestrian zone. Plenty of space inside.
4. A lunch for 2 (0,5 white beer, 0,5 water, asparagus with potato and a small pork schnitzel, beef cordon bleu with cucumber-potato salad and berry sauce was 52 €).
5. Food is super fresh, well cooked and delicious. Best cordon bleu in Munich according to my companion.
Waiting time 30 minutes. Drinks were served immediately!
Hope it helps you to make a decision ????

One of the best pork i have ever eaten! So tender and full of taste. The best Bayern cuisine place availible for tourist in Munich. Dish and a beer list around 17€. Taste I superb. Service and inside perfectly traditional. Also very fast to eat. 20 minutes and I'm done! I recommend it !

A charming local establishment! We went on a Tuesday night, where locals seemed to gather weekly. On our visit, they were celebrating the chef/owner's 70th birthday. Quite a festive atmosphere. Our food was mostly roasted pork items with dumplings. Not the most balanced dishes in the world, but a worthy representation of local cuisine. Large portion sizes and friendly locals! Oh yes, the Kaiserschmarrn is a must for dessert!

This is a must if you want authentic experience of German food with locals. Try to get there before 12:00pm Monday - Friday to eat famous freshly made Weiss wurst (otherwise they get sold out fast)and meet the owner Rudy who is always there. You will love it, not a place for vegetarians...

Instead of 5 dl of beer, there is about 4-4.5 dl in the jug. An English menu is available on request, but prices are not included. Visa cards are not accepted. Prices are expensive.
