One of my favourite places in the neighborhood and I live close-by u0026 this is the one cafe I've felt at ease and love hanging out over here either with my friend or alone just reading and order a delicious cake and cappuccino. The vibe is perfect and don't really have any complaints.

PS: the tiny issue that I've seen from other reviews as well is that the coffee could be warmer that's all. :)

100% joie de vivre. I already came there last year with a friend who made me discover this place and I wasn't impressed at that time. This time it is different as I started to connect the dots and when I connect the dots, I am very happy, will share later why. So this place isn't in the city center (yeah!), it has plenty of room inside to sit on big tables or in comfy vintage chairs and read a good book while eating a delicious über moist chocolate cake with a decadent icing topped with crunchy nuts unless I am mistaken, crunchy chocolate beans? You can also sit outside if you prefer. It is quiet, not hipster like, it offers a great atmosphere to be content with. You have to order at the counter then come back there later to pay so a sort of self service but I don't mind. I haven't tried the coffee yet as instead I had a golden milk with curcuma freshly grated that made me feel less guilty to indulge with the chocolate cake. I know this is an illusion.
And here is where I am connecting the dots. This place is near the nail salon Mina that is 5 min walk, a place that I highly recommend. I also found some instant coffee whose packaging matches randomly to my nails.
A nice place to go over the weekend, enjoy a treat and read a good book. But I am aware I was in a good mood and relaxed and might not be totally objective.
Edit 29.09. Came back with a friend and one star down as it confirmed me what I already felt the other day: service can be a bit improved. I am not complaining about the "Selbstbedienung" but service can be a bit more "proactive". However I will come back :)

Barista Sister is a cafe like no other! The vibe keeps drawing me back to this place. It is like walking into a vortex of what life can be like when we actually stop, take a breath (or many)—while sipping the beautiful coffees (in architectural cups) and eating delicious food. I love that the cafe has a no-computer policy. This removes the isolation energy and non-present way of life that many people have found themselves in. Barista Sister promotes being mindful, connected and present in the now, which brings peace and happiness. Thank you to the owner, for creating a special space for people to experience.

Love this place - Julia, the new owner, is super nice and she makes sure people are enjoying their time. Also, she is genuinely opened to feedback since she has recently opened. We should all support small businesses like this one.

This is a cozy place to drink a coffee and eating a slice of cake.
The hot chocolate and chocolate cake is delicious.

I ordered a latte but I got a latte macchiato, I guess she dont know the difference in the process :D
But it wasn't bad at all, I can say that the coffee they use is not a bad one.

Being a bit warmer would also be great, I feet that I was annoying her, it's a pity for such a nice place.

Was very upset that i can't work in the cafe anymore. In the time of home office it is really a downside :(
P.S. i think it is unfair that google saved the reviews from the previous cafe. The coffee is different and the atmosphere, it is basically a new place. I wish the ladies great success, but at the same time it is very sad that so much changed...
