It is always a pleasure coming here. One of Mannheim most beautiful places. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. A variety of international and German dishes. Parking available right next to the Resturant. Happy to sit outside in the summer and next to the fireplace in the winter

Delicious food and good service. The atmosphere is wonderful; we sat outside by the River and relaxed with a cold beer.

Alsatian FLAMMKUCHEN is delicious!
But please, GALETTES BRETONNES is more for salted dishes than desserts. In France, we usually serve the white one for dessert not the galette ! And all pancakes in restaurants ( included galette bretonne) are served warm not cold! This is the reason why we go to restaurant: to eat warm galette/ French pancakes! Eating cold galette in a restaurant is like eating cold FLAMMKUCHEN or cold pizza!
My ship had a stop in Mannheim, I told my workmates to go for the FLAMMKUCHEN but not for the French galette dessert !
I’ll come back to try the crème brûlée which is French!
Otherwise nice old fashion place by the river! My young browned hair waitress was really nice.

Very nice restaurant along the river. The terrasse was enjoyable with the summer. The food is fine, nothing exceptional. Good wines, all from Germany

Met some friends for dinner and got to enjoy the sunset on the Rhine. The setting near the river is so lovely and if the weather is good, there’s an outdoor seating area. I ordered mussels in wine sauce from the North Sea while my friends ate the blood sausage. The restaurant is very large and there’s even a big bar in the room. It’s also very cosy and has a romantic setting because of the location and views of the Rhine. The restroom could use more rigorous cleaning. Overall, a lovely restaurant for lunch or dinner while watching boats, barges go by...
