We came from the US and this place is amazing! The concept is unique with lots of tap options! Ive never seen anything like it! Very great drinks and beer. Will definitely be back

LOUSY SERVICE! Although the food was quite good and the tap beer concept was interesting, the way the staff treated me and my friends totally ruined the experience. One staff in particular (might be the manager/owner) was extremely RUDE, CONDESCENDING u0026 UNREASONABLE.

He talked to us like we were school children and told off one of my friends to “listen” to his explanation of how to use the beer tap. It was a handle…all you needed to do was to lightly push it… how much explanation is needed? Through out the night, he made us feel uncomfortable with his sarcastic remarks and constant talking down.

My friends and i do not speak german but he was particularly rude to my friends who did not speak English as their first language.

The best part was when he didn’t allow us to cut a birthday cake in the restaurant after all of us ate and drank there. When we first entered the restaurant he offered to keep the cake for us in the fridge but he did not inform us that we cannot cut it. It would have been perfectly fine with us if he had informed us from the start. I think he just wanted us to dine and drink there so we will spend money there! The other staff even brought out plates and cutlery for the cake - which shows that it is not a strict rule that customers cannot cut a birthday cake there. He totally ruined the birthday celebration.

Overall, do not dine here unless you are ok with a rude man throwing you condescending and sarcastic remarks the whole night like the old naggy school teacher nobody liked.

This place has amazing ambience. Great food! Wide variety of beer which you can tap out yourself. The owner is really awesome person. He personally attends customer and takes care of the service as well. One of the few good places in Mannheim.

A nice place in the center of town. Small food menu but a good one with some burgers and other snacks. A big assortment of beers and other deinks like long drinks and cocktails. Prices are alright

I like the idea with tapping yourself alot. possible to take super small sippers up to whatever :) stuff was super helpful too - wasn't too fascinated about the offering tho. if you are out for some fancy stuff you might not be able to find it there. being some more doubles / intense stouts or maybe some lambics / fruited sours in :) - maybe we just had a bad.timing since dude said they changwe kegs quite often
