Great museum, what a pleasant surprise! I was on a river cruise that stopped in Mannheim otherwise I never would have visited. The building itself is impressive and commanding, setting the stage for a very well curated collection of modern and contemporary art.

This gallery is just a short walk from the main station and houses 19th and 20th century art and other contemporary works. The gallery itself is a combination of 2 buildings - the original with 'Jugendstil' influences and the new wing completed in 2017 (clean lines, natural light...). Was well impressed by Hanna Nagel's work, which was on exhibit when I visited.

Excellent 'Urban Nature' multi media installation. Ends on 16th October 2022. Get along if you can for a unique experience. Thoroughly recommended. Spoken in German but with English subtitles which actually enhanced the installation. 12 euro for the art gallery and installation.

In a mood for some art? Kunsthalle is the place to go. Great ambiance and thousend of pieces to tell you long forgoten stories.

Was out of my expectations in a good way! Great combination of modern and contemporary pieces. The installations are well-curated, no less than MoMA PS1 in NYC.
