Stayed one night with family at this property. Top floor rooms have very nice view from the balcony (Facing the river). This is walking distance from the old town and route 5 of the bus. Rooms have basic amenities. Breakfast included in tariff is good and sumptuous.

Good location (10-15 minute walk) from old town. Free, on-street parking in front of hotel. Decent sized room with standard facilities and very good value. Taking the Covid protection measures extremely seriously.

Idyllic location with views of the river, very calm area, walking distance to the old town. Furniture is dated, but functional and everything is very clean. Room kinda warm at night, and curtains don’t block the sun very well (light sleeper here). Must be great during summer, as long as they provide a fan.

Mixed feelings about the staff: check-in host was friendly and polite, instructed me to park my bike in the garage. The one on check out though tried to charge me the booking fees again, though I had paid when I made the reservation. Guess it was an honest mistake, but he was so sure I was wrong he refused to look at the payment confirmation I had, even when I repeated asked him to just please read it. That was just silly. After minutes of discussion he finally decided to check it on the booking platform, and abruptly said I didn’t have to pay anymore. Wish he would have just looked at the payment confirmation I was trying to show him instead of insisting I was wrong.

Breakfast was very good, with options of fruits, cheese, spreads, meats, yoghurt, bread and jams.

Clean rooms. Breakfast is standard (nothing too fancy). Some aspects of the building could use modernization. Price is not as advertised. Expect surcharges upon arrival.

Ok apart from mould in the shower. Monday seems to be the local teenager hangout by the Wakenitz, so don’t expect any sleep before 1am.

Nice breakfast room and good breakfast, but difficult for parking
