Not out of this world pizza, but it's nice with a good concept. The berry tea here was AMAZING!!!!!!! Good service (which is rare in Europe, let alone Germany...and in East Germany. Who knew Socialist can work!)

Excellent concept! Very neatly and simply decorated, three ambience and the food blend perfectly with one another.

The scissors to cut the pizza was a funny concept that ought to catch on.

White Monkey is voted amongst the best places for pizza in Leipzig on tripadvisor probably due to its good location, hip vibe and somehow creative dishes. We were quite excited to visit this place but probably that played a contrast card against us when we expected too much.

The service is really helpful and friendly. The decor is indeed interesting. But we come for the food, so let's talk about it.

The pizza size is huge, which explains its high price, around 15euro each. The dough is flat and crunchy, but somehow really bland. I got the teriyaki salmon pizza, and it is served with fresh cucumber. My hubby got something else which has an additional pesto sauce. The ingredients seem to be fresh, but their flavor combination doesn't really work out. The teriyaki flavor was really really just a hint, and the rest of the pizza is kinda bland. In the end, the best part was pizza left-over dough dipped in pesto sauce.

We rather think that the price doesn't match up with the quality of the food. I already eat really bland and I find these pizzas really bland. We will not come back, even though we fell in love with the nice service and the mini desserts.

Fantastic Pizza! I had for lunch a classical pizza, the dough was thin as it should be and the ingridiends were fresh, in general it was delicious! I really enjoyed being there!

Fab pizza (with scissors!). I liked that it is located slightly further away from the city centre (still easy walking distance), so it made eating outside more pleasurable (less tourists).

Interesting pizza selection and good beer! Definitely worth a try! One pizza is enough to serve two if you’re not a big eater. Save some room for the dessert pizza!

I am really not a big fan of pizza, but White Monkey made me a fan. The pizza is super good, extremely tasty and surprising combination! The staff was really nice, especially the girl that served us and the bar guy with the ‘heart tattoo’.

Deff go here when you’re visiting Leipzig!
