The Star is for the nice interior and ambience and the good will to offer a suitable food selection for the tropical surroundings, which sounds at looks great at first, but unfortunately tastewise very disappointing-how can so many nice ingredients taste so bland and off together (tried noodle soup and dim sum)? Highly recommend new chefs there...

Wir waren zu unserem Zoobesuch hier. Das Essen konnte auf 3 verschiedene Tellergrößen (Preise stehen dabei) selbst aufgetan werden. So ist für jeden Hunger etwas dabei. Aus mehreren vegetarischen Gerichten haben wir uns einen Teller zusammengestellt. Alles war frisch und lecker. Für Preisaufschlag, gab es auch Fisch- und Fleischvarianten. Preise und Angebot sind verständlich dargestellt. Auf Fragen wurde freundlich reagiert.

My wife and I each had a normal lunch plate with a drink each. At the checkout they asked me for €48. I felt like I was being robbed.

I didn't like the steak I had at all, it was cold and tough. I didn't even manage to finish my overpriced meal because it didn't taste good. I left the place angry, frustrated and hungry.

I can only advise against a visit to the Patakan, but if you really want to try it, I definitely do not recommend combining different types of meat.

Ich war einmal dort und werde es nie wieder machen. Ich wollte zusammen mit meiner Frau beim Zoobesuch im Restaurant essen und habe mir einen überschaubaren Teller zusammen gestellt. Ich habe den Fehler gemacht, unterschiedliche Beilagen und Fleisch auf meinen kleinen Teller zu legen.
Meine Frau und ich hatten jeweils einen normalen Mittagsteller mit je einem Getränk. An der Kasse wollte man dann 48,- € von mir haben. Ich kam mir vor als würde ich ausgeraubt werden.

Das Steak das ich hatte hat mir überhaupt nicht geschmeckt, es war kalt und zäh. Ich habe es nichtmal geschafft mein überteuertes Essen aufzuessen, weil es nicht schmeckte. Verärgert, frustriert und hungrig habe ich die Lokalität verlassen.

Ich kann nur von einem Besuch im Patakan abraten, wer es dennoch unbedingt probieren möchte, dem empfehle ich auf keinen Fall unterschiedliche Fleischsorten zu kombinieren.
