Overall, disappointed. We found a listing on Air BNB for a really nice room, fairly cheap near the city center of Leipzig. The owner sent an email saying we need to cancel but he didn't want to cancel. So we showed up because we didn't wanna cancel, as it was our only option. The room was a complete lie. It didn't resemble the posted pics at all. They were in the process of renovating. The stairs were incomplete. The fire detection system was inoperable. The kitchen that was promised was missing. There was no tv. No elevator, so wheelchairs and strollers are a no go. The list honestly goes on...
We brought the issues up to the clerk and he gave us a 10% discount. Ultimately, we had to file a claim with air bnb to get a refund because of the false advertising and safety concerns and inaccessibility of our stroller.
The location... Nearly perfect. A short 10 minute walk had you in one of the most beautiful city centers... Leipzig. The room is just outside of all the buddy streets and tucked away from traffic, so it's a bit quiet.
