One of my favorite place in Leipzig, you can do jogging, running, exercise, play basketball, badminton, table tennis, play groud for kids.

anyone who lived in straße des 18 Oktober or Philip Rosenthal as a student in Leipzig knows this park very well , from basketball to football to volleyball to partying at night this park is the hub for spring/summer activities for students living near by , will always be remembered

Nice and very large park filled with green gras and many singular trees. Soccer and basket ball field give some sport opportunities. At night the ways are fully dark - so avoid crossing it if you are easily scared.

Cool and okay. You would enjoy it. However, the city council should consider providing public toilet at strategic locations in the Park.

You can find several free sports facilities (a volleyball Court, ~3 table-tennis tables, a basket ball court, and a small football court). Additionally there is a nice Kinder Garten for children. And lots of places were to just lay down like a lazy sloth if sunbathing is your thing. All in all a very chill park for all tastes.
