Confirming the other reviewers: outstanding breakfast, clean room, but quite worn out mattress and awful smelly towels. Internet is a disgrace! Inaceptable for 2018. Short stay is OK, but for more than a few days I would choose another hotel.

Mercure Hotels are generally the same where ever you go. They are reliable, clean offer a decent breakfast and are for the most part comfortable. I gave this one 3 stars due to the fact that this outfit is in desperate need of an update! It looks and feels like its stuck in the 90's. Another reason I gave this 3 stars is the pillows and towels. The pillows nearly everywhere in German hotels are horrible, laid flat too thin or folded over too thick. The towels are very very thin and after drying your upper body the whole thing is soaked through and the feel of them just feels unsatisfactory.

In saying these things the hotel offers a decent breakfast with fresh eggs along with salmon and also the option of omelettes. In my experience with internet at Mercure Hotels lately the premium internet has costed money and not been any better at all. At this hotel I opted to pay for the Telekom option for the week and it worked almost as good as it does at home.

For me this hotel is more like a really nice 3 star but with a 4 star breakfast. Good friendly staff more than happy to help on any occasion.

The rooms are a bit outdated and the beds hard. Gym not open till 7 am. Wi Fi weak signal. BUT lovely service and staff and super breakfasts and lunches.

Tired and warm. A 10 minute walk from city centre the hotel staff friendly and helpful. Small bath tub with shower. Beds firm, there are better hotels in Leipzig.

Confortable and close to the main hospital and university. The furniture is a bit oldie a good renewal of the interior would be aporeciated. A parking is available but not free of charge.

In a quiet area but only a few minutes walk from two tram lines, a few minutes more to a major interchange. Very nice and reasonably priced for the high standard.

I attended an interview with the football manager Ralf rangnick. The rooms were well prepared and tidied up. Technical equipment was working well. Small beer was too expensive for this event.
