Great museum / gallery. The suicide exhibition was very powerful. I'll be sure to return for other events. Thank you for the thoughtful display.

Beautiful views, nice layout, quiet and comfortable. Discounts available for students for some events so be sure to look into that before going.

Never expected such a mueseum exist for death and Rituals. Very informative. English Translation exists but not everywhere. Still worth a visit. Special exhibition on suicide Was good too.

I loved this museum! I visited during Documenta 15, so my impression is colored by the additional temporary exhibits. It's on the smaller side and quite divers in regards to the passing rites and beliefs, super visuals, no grotesque depictions. A highlight is the Café. Don't miss having a cup next to a coffin and hearse. Memento mori , indeed!

The idea of the museum is great, but the experience hasn’t fulfilled my expectations. Some tombstones, three coffins and a couple of explanatory posters and trinkets are not worth the 8 euros admission.

Interesting museum only need guide in English. Now they offer only German

Very interesting and worth to see. On Saturday tickets for adults cost 6 EUR. The exhibition shows how different cultures are dealing with death and gives some impression on how it changed throughout the years. It could be a bit scary for little children but may help to understand what does it mean when someone passes away.
