Lovely place to have some wine, chat with friends and enjoy the view. Also great for people watching, the atmosphere is calm and peaceful. Do expect to wait a bit as it tends to get crowded on sunny days. You do pay a premium for the location and view. So if you're on a tight budget, and are not too picky about the surroundings there are other options in Kassel.

Für mich der schönste Biergarten in Kassel, oben auf dem Weinberg mit tollem Blick über die Stadt. Leider gibt es hier nur Selbstbedienung und das Personal scheint oft zu wechseln und ist daher selten eingespielt… Das Essen ist sehr lecker und auch die Kuchen sehen immer sehr gut aus - allerdings haben wir es schon öfter erlebt, dass Gerichte aus waren und das dann erst zeitversetzt kommuniziert wurde. Kurzum: sehr schön dort, aber in puncto Service und Bedienung könnte man hier sicher mehr heraus holen…

Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen. Die Orga der Selbstbedienung funktioniert gut und die Bestellung an der Theke ging schnell und einfach.
Es gibt ausgezeichnete Weißweine und die Getränke werden gut gekühlt angeboten. Die Theke ist sauber und es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Kaltgetränken.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und jeder Teller war schön angerichtet. Geschmacklich war alles gut und die Preise sind angemessen. Man sitzt abends wunderbar dort. Der Garten ist unbedingt zu empfehlen.
