Alles was Super. Congrats to the chef ????. I had chicken fajitas, hot chocolate and cocktails which were on point ????. Almost forgot the waiter that served us, giving us an excellent service

the service is very slow and the food is tasteless. careful ordering the make your own bowl, according to one of the servers it is just a sentence, they will make you pay a full bowl, the most expensive one. and if you try to ask them why and argue, they will show their machito side and don’t give and explanation and walk away.
really disgusted and disappointed with food and service. not worth anything

The food and drinks were great but the music was too loud to hold a conversation with our friends on the other side of the table. Plus the cigarette smoke from the smoking section seeped into the rest of the restaurant so much I had to shower again after returning home.

Bolero was overall a good place. The facility was pleasant and clean. The staff was very friendly. One has a fine overlook of Kassel. Price was fair. The food, though. Being the main reason for going to a restaurant, if I don't like the food, I would normally dock 2 stars. But, in this case, I am comparing it to what is commonly served in Texas, known as Tex-Mex, and this is Europe, where you are served food as is. My biggest problem with the food was the seasoning, or lack thereof. There were three different dishes ordered, yet all of the meat tasted exactly the same. The sauces provided were also pretty bland, adding very little additional flavor. One of them tasted like spicy spaghetti sauce, which didn't fit all. The guacamole, as far I could tell, was just mashed avocado in a bowl. Again, biased here, but I am used to guacamole having cilantro, onions, and lime juice mixed in. I am fine with a general preparation of food geared to being a little bland, if you then also provide me with something to jazz it up a little if desired. Again, only one star docked.
