Great museum, especially the mineral, fossil and aquarium areas. Cheap entry and plenty of wonderful specimens. The taxidermy area of extant animals is the only part that feels data.

With the aquarium being so good the museum can be a regular visit location instead of a once every few years like it used to be.

A great mix of minerals, breathing and post breathing animals. Well displayed, fun and well cared for. The staff was friendly and though we had to use Google translate to read the signs (as they are only in French and German) we still had a great time.

A shout out to the guy who was cleaning the Axolottl's water. He is truly a gem for taking time to talk to us about the Axolottls in the tank.

The Museum is great for educational purpose and also very entertaining. It is not so big as in Berlin Natural History Museum but it has all the great section. Minimum 3 hours visit is necessary.

Very nice exhibitions, unfortunately they all are either in German or French, not in English. This museum has live exhibitions as well. On the second floor of the museum the air is very warm.

Museum by itself is really nice and has a lot of things to offer. For example, the aquarium is amazing. However, I give them only 2 stars because there is nothing in English. That is such a shame for a museum like this. On top of that, they also don't accept the credit cards that are not German. I wish they told me at the entrance that nothing in English when they offered me to buy the ticket for the special exhibition that I couldn't understand.

A really fun and interesting place to spent the time with friends and family getting to see a very impressive collection of living and preserved specimens from around the world.

Their aquariums are really large and impressive, with sharks and all sorts of fish and marine life.

They also have mineral displays as well as fossils and various sorts of galleries that tend to change depending on the year.

Really friend staff.

Family friendly.

Lockers for storage and jacket area.

Parking nearby but also really easy to get to via tram or by foot.

Fair prices and also free on certain days.

Try buying online before you visit as corona has changed capacity limits but that tends to change along with the current corona cases within the city. Hopefully that won’t be an issue for much longer!

Big museum full of wonders, from dinosaurs to insects and mammals. Especially the aquariums with exotic fish are interesting. Great place to bring kids and show them the wonders of nature. Lots of information, though most is only in German.
