Very old hotel but clean with air conditioning have very old left can’t carry more than two people anyone time. No safe deposit in the room. Location near the main train station .nice tasty breakfast with good seating and friendly staff.check out at 11 o’clock but the hotel agreed to extend to 12 o’clock.

Beautiful building with alot of character - which is more or less where it ends.

The atmosphere is as stiff as a Victorian boarding school.

Breakfast is an eerie, silent experience, where you could hear a pin drop....

I'll take my coffee elsewhere next time.....

Oh yes...parking at 15 euros a night... That's just a rip off.

Quite an old hotel which seems to be still living a bit in it's past glory. Also if you order the salad with the chicken in the restaurant, it's 16 euros and not 9 euros as mentioned in the menu.

Staff were helpful, however bar and restaurant were not open. In addition the gym was out of service.

I had a great experience at this hotel! A real 4* hotel with all that comes with a quality service! The room has a classic elegant deco, very clean and nice. Bathroom was also very cleaned and big (for European standards). Maybe the comments from other people related to room and bathroom size has to do with NorthAmerican standards.
Overall comment, a very nice stay, friendly staff, close to public transports and the zoo. Highly recommended!

Nice central location with nostalgic elevator- perfect when arriving by train but hotel also hosts private (paid) parking. Unique are the rooms overlooking the Zoo ( also a must see !) You can hear the animals when windows are open :)

With all this said, the breakfast was a big miss! Neither quality nor service were up to par. Please improve hospitality of breakfast staff.
