The food is absolutely delicious. High quality, homemade sauce, nothing frozen. The price is unbelievable for the quality of food you receive. Beer garden is beautiful, the staff is very friendly. The cook with tattoos is awesome ????. Will definitely return to there new location in January of 2022.

Beim Bootshaus Rappenwört handelt es sich um einen einfachen, aber guten Biergarten mit Selbstbedienung. Das heißt aber nicht, dass es am Service fehlt, denn der ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Die Auswahl an Schnitzeln ist ordentlich und preis-leistungstechnisch mehr als angemessen. Es schmeckt gut und bietet sehr große Portionen.
Die Lokalität ist gerade in der Sommerzeit neben dem Schwimmbad sehr schön, um nach dem Sport den Tag gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen.

The restaurant was well filled when we visited. We got a table that was reserved from 3:30 p.m. and thus had more than 2.5 hours as a family to eat and chat. The tables are numbered the distance to the other tables and guests seemed to me to be sufficient, there are no tables that are kept free as in other restaurants in order to increase the safety distance. The data sheet for the Corona determination must be filled out and handed in on site. The order is made like in a fast-food restaurant, only without queuing at the counter. After the order you get a beeper that calls you to pick up the order and bring yourself to the place. It is "SELF-SERVICE". Despite the large number of guests, the food is quickly prepared and hot. The Pepsi Cola didn't taste like usual with the nice burping effect from the carbonic acid, the taste was also a little different than usual, possibly this is due to the tap system and a possibly wrong water: syrup mixing ratio. Here I would prefer to get my Pepsi out of the bottle as a guest, from a gastronomic point of view and especially in this difficult economic time for the gastronomy completely understandable not to do this.

This was my 2nd visit and there were no shortcomings on the first visit a year ago.

That with the fries is an assumption made by me and it could also be that it should be like that, which I don't see as a former restaurant manager of a large fast food chain. Here I would explicitly pay more attention to it.
I didn't complain about it because I've seen eating too much go to the trash in my life. Why am I writing it here; On the one hand to rate a great restaurant, to praise it and to exercise constructive criticism and to be able to improve because I know that you can do better.

Das Restaurant liegt ca. 5 min Fußweg entfernt von der Endhaltestelle der Linie 6 beim Rheinstrandbad Rappenwörth.
Der Außenbereich ist groß und verfügt über einen kleinen "alten" Spielplatz mit dem Charme einer der letzten seiner Art zu sein. Durch die Corona Regeln ist der Weg zum Eingang mit Sperrband abgetrennt. Es gibt genug Hinweisschilder und am Eingang gibt es Desinfektionsmittel mit einem Sensor, ohne das man es berühren muss. Im Restaurant ist der Tresen mit einer Scheibe zum Schutz abgetrennt. Das Restaurant war gut gefüllt bei unserem Besuch. Wir bekamen einen Tisch der ab 15:30 Uhr reserviert war und hatten somit mehr als 2,5 Std als Familie zum Essen und plaudern Zeit. Die Tische sind nummeriert der Abstand zu den anderen Tischen und Gästen erschien mir als ausreichend, es gibt keine Tische die wie in anderen Restaurants frei gehalten werden um den Sicherheitsabstand noch mehr herzustellen. Das Datenblatt zur Corona Ermittlung muss Vorort ausgefüllt und abgegeben werden. Die Bestellung erfolgt wie in einem Schnellrestaurant nur ohne Schlange stehen an der Theke. Nach der Bestellung bekommt man einen Pieper der dich called um die Bestellung abzuholen und sich selbst an den Platz zu bringen. Es herrscht "SELBSTBEDIENUNG". Das Essen ist trotz großen Gäste aufkommens schnell angerichtet und heiß. Das Schnitzel mit Ei und Bacon war sehr lecker, wirkte manchmal etwas Salzig aber nicht unangenehm. Der Beilagesalat sah schön aus und war frisch in einer guten Qualität und schmeckte gut. Die Pommes waren gut, aber mit Backreste vom frittieren im Fett belegt, was für mich bedeutet das Restaurant ist stark besucht und hier wird gebruzzelt bis zum umfallen aber leider auch das man das Fett nicht richtig gereinigt hat nach dem herausnehmen der Pommes. Die Pepsi Cola schmeckte nicht wie üblich mit dem schönen Rülpseffekt von der Kohlensäure, auch der Geschmack war etwas anders als üblich, evtl ist dies der Zapfanlage geschuldet und einem evtl falschen Wasser : Sirup Mischverhältnisses. Hier würde ich mir eher als Gast wünschen aus der Flasche meine Pepsi zu bekommen, aus Gastronomischersicht und vor allem in dieser Wirtschaftlichen schweren Zeit für die Gastronomie völlig verständlich dies nicht zu tun.
Ein Glas von uns am Tisch ließen wir austauschen, da ein Lippenabdruck am Rand war.
Die Toiletten sind alt, aber ordentlich und sauber.
Am Ende räumt man sein Essen selbständig auf einen Tablettwagen zurück.
Das Personal ist freundlich und hart am Arbeiten.
Fazit:
Dies war mein 2ter Besuch und beim ersten Besuch gab es vor einem Jahr keine Mängel.
Die Mängel von gestern sind Kleinigkeiten wo das Personal sich verbessern kann bzw wieder zur alten Stärke zurück finden sollte.
Wir sprachen ein Problem an, welches immer mal passieren kann aber nicht passieren sollte, denn jeder erste Eindruck zählt und kann den Betreiber einen Gast und somit Umsatz kosten.
Das Salz mit dem Schnitzel empfindet einer gut der andere nicht, das ist Geschmackssache und evtl war der Koch etwas verliebt.
Das mit der Pepsi ist meckern auf hohem Niveau und nur ein kleiner Tipp.
Das mit den Pommes ist eine Vermutung von mir und könnte vielleicht auch sein das es so sein soll, was ich aber als ehemaliger Restaurantmanager einer großen Fastfood Kette nicht so sehe. Hier würde ich explizit mehr Beachtung darauf werfen.
Ich habe mich darüber nicht beschwert, weil ich zuviel essen schon in meinem Leben in den Müll wandern sah. Warum schreibe ich es hier; um zum einen ein tolles Restaurant zu bewerten, teilweise zu loben und konstruktive Kritik zu üben und um sich verbessern zu können weil ich weiß, dass ihr es besser könnt.
Bezahlen kann man Bar oder mit EC Karte.
Vorschlag: Reserviert vorher um sicher einen Platz zu bekommen.
