Interesting historical site. The castle was bombed during the second world war. Very little of the original structure remains. Is used as a kindergarten during the week.

I visited on a Thursday. Train trip. We couldn't get to see inside because we arrived at 5pm..It is now used as a museum and school of music?. One xan still get to see the original parts. Which were destroyed in a fire incidence. Just behind it is a big garden..looks lovely. We will visit again..free entry. Few lovely cafes snd shops around. Public buses and trains pass through the building as well.

A beautiful medieval town with stunning architectures... i recommend coming here to escape the hustle bustle in Karlsruhe. Grab a cup of coffee or a glass of beer in the cafes/pubs lining the main street.

Park near castle is amazing, and there is even a small lake with ducks.
