These guys probably sell the best burgers in Karlsruhe. They have a few veggie options which are quite amazing too. Their "chips" (similar to potato wedges) are quite nice as well.

Hendersons pub has developed into a First class Establishment ! Food,drinks, location and above all an extremely friendly atmosphere, Sam and Crew, have easily earned 5 Stars! SLAINTE!

This irish pub is located nearby the university and tech area in Karlsruhe. We went there during the week in a bigger group - without reservation. After we had to arrange the tables on our own we could order our drinks. Normally you would expect the waiter to ask for the meal afterwards - not in this case though ... we had to wave again for ordering.

The side order ( hot and spicy wings which were not spicy at all and quality wise not worth 6.50 EUR ) took about 60 minutes and the burgers between 60 and 125 minutes and fish and chips even 150 ( !! ) minutes since the order; like outlined before the meals were not served at the same time at all and with a big delay in between. Looks like they are not really prepared for ( spontaneous ) groups and you should be prepared for this additional extra time - especially if another group is there and order at the same time.

We contacted the pub one day in advance to make a reservation but the person told us that since we wanted to eat at 18:00 there would still be places available. When we arrived there were many people and all the tables were already reserved. We could finally sit on a table with a later reservation.
My husband ordered the fish and chips and I got a burger. For an establishment that prides itself on the fact that the owner is of Irish descent, the fish and chip was horrendous: a mechanically battered frozen piece of fish. If you can't do a real fish and chip with fresh fish and homemade batter, don't bother!
However, the burger was great as were the chips! The decoration of the inside of the pub is well done.
We ate outside and once the food was brought out we were assaulted with flies. I don't know if it's because there are garbage bins close by but the owner should fix the situation.
I would still go back and try another burger.

Favourite Fish n Chip place in town, albeit it’s a little salty ???? be there early on Friday or risk having a long waiting time ????
