Wild beach, no facilities, dirty water (June). Beach for dogs is bigger than for people, there is even area for horses. There are some people laying on the grass, also small nudist area. We did not like the place even the lake itself is beautiful, great for strolling, but not swimming. No toilets or bar, just a bistro on the furthest part of the lake with lots of disgusting flies. Won’t come back.

Really nice place to come for hikes, picnics, and a good swim during nice weather days.

Free parking, but limited to be sure to come earlier unless you want to encounter some parking challenges.

Beautiful lake... beautiful suburb next to it. Definitely a must-see if you are travelling to Karlsruhe / living in Karlsruhe.

Nice small lake...but very crowded. Visit in the early mornings or evenings at least at the weekends

The closest lake to Karlsruhe.
Very crowded.
If the other lakes hadn't been inundated, I wouldn't have gone there.
Good for dogs as they have their own beach.

Perfect place for a summer outing with family and friends.. To go swimming, playing sports around and most importantly barbecuing in the park. The sea is also clean and not so deep. Proximity to Bahnhof makes it easier to reach.
