Decent food. We had 2 salads with standard dressing. They were nice and fresh, but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, the dumplings (Maultaschen) were a convenience product and tasted a bit nasty.

In the summer it is nice to sit outside in the square, in the winter the atmosphere inside is very nice. The food is often very good for pub food (steaks and traditional German food), only 4 starts rather than 5 because occasionally the food is not quite as food as normal.

Almost flavorless Käsespätzle and salad, below average food.
Nice location. Go for drinks, avoid the food.

Best restaurant in Heidelberg and i tried many. A unique place with fantastic outdoor seating. Recommended the various types of schnitzel..i was surprised with affordable pricing too...5 stars from me!

Really good! I think it's authentic too but I'm from Texas so what do I know?? Servers speak minimal English so be warned. They will do whatever they can to help you though. Over all really great place
