We had the suite which comes with a sitting area. It was very roomy and great views from the window. You can see the bridge from one section of the suite and the castle from another. The bed, pillows and comforter were all top notch, we slept very well. The location of the hotel is perfect and the check in person spoke great English and was very kind. Breakfast was fine, a bit sparse but OK. The bread tasted great and fresh.

Negatives is that it was pretty cold even with all the radiators on, there is no curtain/blinds on the bathroom window so you feel fully on display when taking showers at night, and the shower gel container was completely empty during our stay. I guess they never thought to check and refill it? We had to use the hand soap both nights. For these reasons I didn't feel I could rate it 5 stars, although overall we had a good time and would recommend.

Very friendly staff. The rooms have been stylishly refurbished. Good location.
The restaurant is also nice, good food, many local customers, good sign.

The check in person did not know where our room was. We had to go back to the counter, then he had to find the room! He was very nice but it was odd he did not know the facilities better. The room was excellent. AC worked well, but no one seemed to know how to operate it. We broiled the first night while our daughter in the loft froze. Location is fantastic, but do not expect to find parking for many blocks.

Top location! Excellent breakfast in cosy setting.
Staff was very helpful despite of our group being a bunch of trouble makers. The only thing that they could not help us with was the parking situation which has always been difficult right in the centre of Heidelberg. Make sure you have a second person at hand to take care of luggage while you drive the car to nearby parking lot. Enquire at hotel for reduced rate.

The location is perfect since its right next to the iconic bridge of Heisenberg in the old town. I love little hotels like these; authentic, friendly staff, good food and traditional breakfast. We wanted to try out their menu and so we returned to the hotel after strolling the old city of Heiselberg. We had traditional schnitzel with the best potatoes and bacon ever. Also the home made gnocchi is something I could definitely recommend.

Excellent location, but had some issues with finding parking and there is hardly any room to drop off luggage at the front of the hotel. Our room was actually down the street from the main office, but it was very nice. Breakfast was also ok.
