Small but very relaxing place within the campus of the Heidelberg University. You can relax and learn new knowledge about plants (from description plates) at the same time. A small restaurant / coffee refreshment is several steps from the garden.

Really nice place, especially the exotic plants are amazing! The Orangerie is in a perfect state, plants are in a great condition and it is free if charge. I highly recommend.

Amazing collection of plants from all over the world, beautifully presented and cared for. We were surprised we didn't have to pay to enter, but gladly donated.

Very nice gardens to walk, relax, read or even study. It is usually quiet and can be a good spot if you are looking for a peaceful afternoon. It is located within the premises of the university, but everyone can enter, even by car (at least in the weekend when I went).

Was a lot smaller than I thought and couldn't see some areas as blocked off. But after seeing Kew gardens that's understandable.

It is really beautiful, full of amazing plants and flowers. Not so big but still quite nice.
