Good place for breakfast especially when all other restaurants nearby are full. Service was good and staff very friendly. Value for money is okay - coffee was good, bread rolls and pancakes very basic nothing special.

Nice place with a lot of inside and outside seating. Would recommend to book ahead of time as it can get busy. Friendly service and good choices for food all day long from Breakfast to Dinner.

I had no particular feelings about this place after living in Heidelberg for several years and with my office nearby, until recently I discovered they have this special offer at the bar, all sort of coffees only cost 2 euro, croissants also 2 euros. It is just nice to come to the bar for a cup of coffee in the afternoon.

Very rude staff.
I am living next door and have been going to this place for over 13 years now.
Two days ago I came with my little dog (a small and very quiet dachshund) and a friend. We were sitting on the terrace when one of the waitress came to order me to put my dog on the floor. It was quietly sleeping on a chair. After having taken it down, I just mentioned that it was the 1st time I was asked that (and this is true!). After that she became quite aggressive and kept on asking the same question 4 times: “This is the rule. Why aren’t you happy?” in a very dominant tone. I really took on myself to be able to remain quiet while desperately trying to explain for 4 times the fact that it was not my personal experience, but she clearly was not listening. Making her notice that, I politely asked her to stop asking the question and leave my friend and I enjoy the moment... When she finally let us in peace, she shouted Crazy in my back. Even the people at the neighboring tables were shocked and came to me to provide emotional support. It really made us feel bad, and I can say for sure that I will never come back.

I was there yesterday, the room was nice, coffee was good.. but something really disturb, the Bar was so noisy! With someone put something like they throw it somewhere. Please be professional, the guests wanna have a comfort atmosphere.

Nice place to sit outside and enjoy drinks. The food was okay but not convincing.. We prefer to have only drinks here.
Kind service though!

Fourteen of us walked in during lunch hour, got a large table upstairs right away. Our server wasn’t friendly but efficient. We got our food fairly quickly. Half of the party ordered salad and enjoyed it. The hamburger was decent but not the best. The person who ordered the lentil soup though the soup tasted off and confirmed by another person. She had to send back the soup. I have ordered the Curry Beef Stew with Okra and Falafels, it tasted salty. Overall, food is OK.
