I also see the location as a positive. The dance hall was a good size and well designed. There was enough space and the general atmosphere was good so far. Unfortunately, this is where the first point of criticism begins, although I do not want to rule out that it is a matter of communication errors.
Since it was clear in advance how many prom tickets would be sold, I find it relatively difficult that too few tables/chairs were suddenly provided. Solutions were found quickly and with great effort, but in my opinion all of this could have been prevented.
What was an absolute no-go for me, however, was security. Basically, I understand that you have to assert yourself as security and that sometimes a somewhat harsher tone is required. I also don't consider it ok to simply consume your own drinks, especially not obviously on the premises.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the above-mentioned reasons for the security to show an unfriendly tone, but it was generally communicated super aggressively and unfriendly. Even the question of whether one could go to the bank for a moment was not answered simply and politely, one was almost hit by a car.
In addition, the drink prices should be addressed. I fully understand that the evening has to be financed. But money was collected in advance for this, with the statement that the drinks could be purchased at moderate prices.
Since the prom is a school event, in my opinion a moderate price level is all the more urgent. In addition, we were promised special student prizes in advance. When we got there, the shock followed: a bottle of water costs €7, soft drinks are €3 and beer and mixed drinks €3.50.
While I can understand the price for soft drinks and beer (mixed) drinks, I have no understanding of the 7 € water price. I also found the wine to be very expensive at 21€, as something special to toast to a prom is simply part of it. The drink prices were anything but moderate, which I consider absolutely cheeky, especially considering the high ticket price for a school event without a fixed income.
Here you can now draw a bow to the security again. I understand that it is undesirable and impolite to take your own drinks with you. However, since it was very hot in the location, I personally think that given the high prices, the students should at least be forgiven if they wanted to get drinks such as water or similar from the car.
As a last, admittedly somewhat minor point of criticism, I would like to address the system. This was only moderately loud, which is probably due to the surrounding houses and can therefore be looked at.
However, the sound spectrum was not particularly good either. Unfortunately, there was a complete lack of volume. The highs were very exaggerated and imprecise, even screeching in some places. The higher mids were relatively well covered, the lower mids well saturated, but unfortunately too heavily emphasized. The higher lows were clearly too weak, but still noticeable.
Unfortunately, the deep bass was almost completely missing, i.e. the right deep bass.
In my opinion, a dance school should pay attention to a balanced sound.

Auch ich muss mich meinen Vorredner*innen leider anschließen. Wie viele andere hier, habe auch ich am vergangenen freitag Abend mein Abiball in dieser Location gefeiert. Das das schlechte Bufet dabei unsere Schuld war sehe ich ein, weswegen ich auch hierfür keine Sterne abziehe.
Auch positiv erwähnt werden muss ich das Personal. Ich habe selten so freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal gesehen, welches jederzeit bemüht war und trotz vieler angetrunkener Schüler*innen weiterhin Freundlich geblieben ist.
Auch als Positiv erachte ich die Location. Der Tanzsahl war schön groß und gut ausgestaltet. Es herrschte an sich genügend Platz und die allgemeine Atmosphäre war auch soweit gut. Hier fängt allerdings leider auch schon der erste Kritikpunkt an, webei ich nicht ausschließen möchte, dass es sich um Kommunikationsfehler handelt.
Da im Vorhinein klar war, wie viele Abiballkarten verkauft wurden, erachtet ich es als relativ schwierig, dass auf einmal zu wenig Tische/Stühle bereit gestellt wurden. Hier wurden zwar schnell und bemüht Lösungen gefunden, jedoch hätte das alles in meinen Augen auch verhindert werden können.
Was für mich allerdings ein absolutes No-Go war, war die Security. Ich verstehe Grundsätzlich, dass man sich als Security durchsetzten muss und dafür manchmal ein etwas härscherer Umgangston erforderlich ist. Auch erachte ich es an Sich nicht als in Ordnung, einfach eigene Getränke zu Konsumieren, erst Recht nicht offensichtlich auf dem Gelände.
Leider waren es allerdings nicht die oben genannten Gründe für die Security einen unfreundlichen Umgangston an den Tag zu legen, sondern es wurde generell super agressiv und unfreundlich kommuniziert. Selbst die Frage, ob man kurz zur Bank gehen könne wurde nicht einfach und höflich beantworten, sondern man wurde fast schon angefahren.
Ergänzend dazu sind die Getränkepreise anzusprechen. Ich habe großes Verständnis dafür, dass sich der Abend finanzieren muss. Aber dafür wurde auch im Vorhinein schon Geld eingesammelt, mit der Aussage, dass die Getränke zu moderaten Preisen zu erwerben seien.
Da es sich bei dem Abiball um eine Schüler*innenveranstaltung handelt, ist in meinen Augen ein moderates Preisniveau um so dringlicher. Ergänzend wurden uns im Vorhinein besondere Schüler*innenpreise versprochen. Als wir dort angekommen sind folgte dann der Schock: Eine flasche Wasser kostet 7€, Softgetränke liegen bei 3€ und Bier- sowie bier Mischgetränke bei 3,50€.
Wärend ich die Presie für Softgetränke und Bier(misch)getränke ansatzweise verstehen kann, fehlt mir jegliches Verständnis für den 7€ Wasserpreis. Auch den Wein fand ich mit 21€ sehr hochpreisig, da zu einem Abiball etwas besonders zum Anstoßen einfach dazu gehört. Die Getränkepreise waren somit alles andere als moderat, was ich, vorallem in Betracht auf den hohen Kartenpreis für eine Schüler*innenveranstaltung ohne festest Einkommen, für absolut frech halte.
Hier lässt sich nun auch wieder ein Bogen auf die Security spannen. Das es unerwünscht und unhöflich ist, eigene Getränke mitzunehmen sehe ich ein. Da es in der Location allerdings sehr heiß war, finde ich persönlich, dass es den Schüler*innen, anlässlich der hohen Preise, wenigstens nachgesehen werden muss, wenn diese sich vom Auto Getränke wie Wasser o.ä. holen wollten.
Als letzten, zugegebenermaßen etwas kleineren Kritikpunkt würde ich die Anlage ansprechen wollen. Diese war nur mäßig laut, was allerdings vermutlich den umliegenden Häusern geschuldet- und somit nachzusehen ist.
Jedoch war diese auch vom Klangspektrum nicht sonderlich gut. Es hat leider komplett an Volumen gefehlt. Die Höhen waren sehr überspitzt und unpräziese, an manchen Stellen sogar kreischend. Die höheren Mitten waren relativ gut abgedeckt, die tieferen mitten gut gesättigt, aber leider deutlich zu stark betohnt. Die höheren Tiefen waren deutlich zu schwach, aber immerhin noch wahrnehmbar.
Nahezu komplett gefehlt haben leider die tiefen tiefen, also der richtige Tiefbass.
Grade eine Tanzschule sollte in meinen Augen auf einen ausgewogenen Klang achten.
