I rarely had good food in Germany and this is one, feel like back in France. It's not the German version of French food, it's real international standard contemporary French. Service was great too. Wish they always had the veal liver.

The restaurant kitchen is closing at 20h50 not 22h.
So don't even try to come here.
And requires 2G+ Covid restrictions (vaccination +test +FFP2 mask) which is not mandatory everywhere.

Four tables on a Saturday morning was apparently too much for the kitchen. We had to wait more than an hour for a sandwich, a quiche and a flammkuchen. Food not very special, service a disaster. Not recommended.

Wenn man sehr gut in Hannover französisch essen möchte, kommt man an dem Restaurant MARIE nicht vorbei.
Neben fantastischem Essen wird man auch von netten und sympathischen KellnerInnen bedient. Der Chef selbst weckt Vorfreude auf die Gerichte, indem er sich die Zeit nimmt und jedes Gericht einzeln erklärt.
Zuletzt kann ich mit der Erfahrung eines mehrjährigen Aufenthalts in Frankreich mit gutem Gewissen behaupten, dass die Küche des MARIE die hochwertige französische Küche perfekt widerspiegelt.
Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.
