This place doesn't exactly shine from staff friendliness. Cold reception. Makes you feel more like undesired than welcome. They really should train their staff in hospitality.

Rooms are a bit outdated and worn down. Holes in the furniture, dirty chairs, curtains that are half loose, air conditioning that is not functioning. Weird too that the ironing board can only be used between 8 am and 8 pm.

Rooms don't get cleaned daily, even if you put the please clean my room sign on the door. Sign will still be there in the evening when you return and your room untouched.

Location is on the other side of the street from the main train station and the Flixxbus stop. There's a supermarket behind it which is open until midnight.

The room is spacious. Price is good. Customer service is also good. Breakfast is delicious and the place is very clean and well maintained. Definitely must visit and stay hotel.

Extremely good location 200m from railway station. Which is perfect for us as we arrived at night and are continuing south the next morning.
Room is rather worn but relatively tidy.

Nice building very close to central train station. Checkin was fast and easy. Room was a nice size with separate toilet/sink and bath tub/shower/sink area.

Mediocre hotel. Furniture worn, cleanliness subpar (clearly not vacuumed, peanuts on the floor), airplane-sized toilet smelled strongly like urine, water in shower and sink barely drains, mattress old and sagging. It's cheap, but not this cheap. Rooms are spacious, location is superb, staff average. I stayed two nights, won't be back.

Great location next to the main train station. Rooms have AC, which is not always the case in Hannover, small fridge and a microwave oven. Tip: keep your key card away from your cellphone.

Landmark rude service. I am not usually one who writes negative reviews. I arrived at 1 am to check in an guy with a grey ponytail that was clearly in bad mood, make a massive fuss about my documentation for the COVID regulation (has said for whatever reasons my ID was not among the types he can accept - before arrving I went to one of the test centeres to get tested and had a printed negative test). I have stayed in a total of 12 hotels in within the last weeks in Europe and here was only timeI had an issue with my ID document and I can help it but to think it was because for whatever reasons he did not want me to stay. Despite my reservation, my COVID test, at it being 1 am at night, he refused to help me, and I had to walk around the station to find another hotel. They guy could not care less - should not work for Novotel.
