I find the ambience very suitable for this type of concert. I can also imagine choral performances.

The seating comfort on the chairs was better than expected in a church. Anyone who has ever experienced a concert on wooden benches in a Catholic church knows what I mean ????
The rows of chairs were well spaced, so that I still had enough knee room with my 1.86 m.

The acoustics were great and, together with the ambience, created a great atmosphere. I got goosebumps more than once. Of course, this was also largely due to the musical performance.

Negative for me:
Drinks were not allowed in the church because of the carpet. A 2.5 hour concert can make your throat dry. There's nothing to sing along with ????
I don't think that's a good thing, especially for older or very young visitors. That's why a point deduction.

If you get cold quickly, you should note that it can get cold quickly in the church. It didn't bother me that much myself, but the female visitors in particular were happy if they had a sweater or jacket with them to wear.

Park:
From 6 p.m. you can park around the church free of charge for longer than 2 hours. If you want to park for free earlier, I recommend the parking bays at the Lister Turm or, from there, driving in the direction of St. Mark's Church, the parking bays on the left and right of the street.

I would definitely listen to a concert there again - which I can imagine in this ambience.

Am 05.05.2022 habe ich diese Kirche das erste Mal kennengelernt.
Meine Bewertung bezieht sich auf den Eindruck, den ich von der Kirche als Konzertveranstaltungsort (Akustik Konzert von Faun) erhalten habe.

Das Ambiente für diese Art von Konzerten finde ich sehr passend. Auch Chorauftritte kann ich mir gut vorstellen.

Die Ecke mit dem Altar war als Bühne schön gewählt. Durch die rundliche Begrenzung des hinteren Teils der "Bühne" war diese gut in Szene gesetzt.

Der Sitzkomfort auf den Stühlen war besser als in einer Kirche erwartet. Wer schon mal ein Konzert auf Holzbänken einer katholischen Kirche erlebt hat, weis was ich meine????
Die Stuhlreihen hatten einen guten Abstand, sodass ich mit meinen 1,86m trotzdem genug Kniefreiheit hatte.

Die Akustik war toll und brachte zusammen mit dem Ambiente eine tolle Stimmung hervor. Ich hatte mehr als einmal Gänsehaut. Natürlich lag das auch wesentlich an der musikalischen Darbietung.

Negativ für mich:
Getränke waren wegen dem Teppich in der Kirche nicht erlaubt. So kann ein 2,5 Stunden Konzert schon mal nen trockenen Hals machen. Mit Mitsingen ist da nichts????
Insbesondere für ältere oder ganz junge Besucher finde ich das nicht gut. Deswegen auch einen Punkt Abzug.

Wem schnell kalt ist sollte beachten, dass es in der Kirche schnell kühl werden kann. Mich hat es selbst nicht so gestört aber insbesondere die weiblichen Besucher waren froh, wenn sie einen Pullover oder eine Jacke dabei hatten, die sie anziehen konnten.

Parken:
Ab 18Uhr kann rund um die Kirche auch länger als 2 Stunden kostenfrei geparkt werden. Wer schon früher kostenlos parken möchte, empfehle ich die Parkbuchten am Lister Turm oder von dort aus Richtung Markuskirche fahrend die Parkbuchten links und rechts der Straße.

Ich würde mir definitiv nochmal ein Konzert - was ich mir auch in diesem Ambiente vorstellen kann - dort anhören.
