A proper steakhouse with a luxurious feel to it. The food is delicious but moderately expensive. If you have an occasion to splurge a bit of money this is the place to do so.

The steak was good. The salat buffet is great but I wouldn't pay extra for it. The steak wasn't on point, I ordered medium and got rare to medium rare. The restrooms are unpleasently smelly - there is a printed out sign saying that the problem is going to be fixed, but it looks several months old, so I have my doubts about that. Nevertheless the restaurant is fine for having a meaty dinner and you will enjoy it here.

Short version: Good food, very long waiting (slow staff)
Long version: The food was great, BUT we had to wait 20 minutes before someone noticed us (we sat outside, but inside was almost empty, so not a lot of people to tend to..). The waiters seemed a bit confused, maybe because there were constantly changing and did not know what was ordered by whom.. Also they did not bother to tell us, that we should go inside to pick the salad we ordered (you pick what you want to the salad). So we had the salad after the main course (and after the waiting...)

Racist, rude and only nice to white people. I went with my elderly foreign parents and they made us move tables in the middle of dinner as there was a pre made reservation, they changed our order, took 1 hour to bring the bill and overcharged our side order. The worse part was when my dad asked for help in translating the name of a dish the waitress said: I’m not a translator, order it and find out.

Like always reasonable food for a good price. The ribeye steak however this time was so-so. Rather tough and I had to cut away a lot of meat. The salad bar was good like always. Service was rather slow, but not annoying.

Not suited for groups

We were at the Maredo with a larger group (u003e8 people) for an office event. We pepared everything by choosing the dishes ahead of time and mailing the list to them. Nevertheless, we had to wait more than 90min before the first dishes started being served. Furthermore, more than 10% of the dishes were wrong or forgotten.
The quality of the food was good but in no way able to compensate for the lack of service we experienced. While colleagues also reported about their previous good times in the Maredo with families, the restaurant seems to be not suited in anyway to accommodate groups.
