Staff is very nice although slow.
Live music make it perfect.
They also have like a DJ set/club on the lower level.
Drinks are not expensive. Coming back any chance I get.

Went to Duke Irish Pub on a Saturday around 18:00. The place, which is relatively large, was basically empty. We were seated and approached to order drinks very fast, and when the drinks arrived we were asked if we were ready to order. We were not, so we asked if he could give us two minutes. We decided within these two minutes and we were not approached again until we asked to order around 10 minutes later. While we were waiting our waiter, and another one, passed our table several times, without making eye contact. At one point the bar was completely empty of staff for a few minutes, and now we were the only guests in the room.
The food came relatively quickly after we placed our order (because they had no others) and it was actually quite good.
When it was time to pay I, as a foreign visitor, went to pay with either my Visa debit card or my Mastercard credit card, but was told they would just accept cash or something called "EC card". How that is the case in a large city, right next to the main train station, in 2019 is beyond me. A huge inconvenience for sure. All in all, good food, but the service was very poor and the requirement for "EC card" or cash is very alienating to non-Germans.

I love pub atmospheres. A Place to go when you want a cover band or to have a few beers with friends. The problem that they have is space. When the band plays they are so loud you cant speak anymore, in addition they sit above a club where the exit is in the middle of the seating Area. The music bleads into the pub where you feel as if your sitting in a backroom. The food is good the look is good, but the atmosphere is wrong. I would recommend this place for the clubber who wants a beer, a burger, and then leave for the real party.

The best pub in Hannover! Drinks are amazing! Irish car bombs are superb, you have to try the chocolate cake shot! They have a great selection of whiskey and scotch, staff is always friendly and helpfull, I have a great time every time, amazing crowd, it’s just a lot of fun! Can’t wait to go back!

I was actually the musician playing last night, but I enjoyed the food. It was very good. The musicians who play here are all top class and the staff,too.

Strongbow on tap, 25 yards from Hbf, food that is both simple and delicious. When you throw in a group of bar staff from around the world, every one of which could justify a short story, you have a bar not to be missed. Literally the thing I look forward to most about work9im Hanover.
