It’s a cute seafood place. You pay for your food first and pick it up yourself.

One of my favorite places when I'm in Hannover. Couple notes. They have English menu, but English is not spoken by all there. Also it's cash only but an atm is directly across the street. Portions are generous, come hungry!

Awesome ambience and yummy sea food. Surely why try anything else in a seafood restaurant, other than fish and prawns!

Nice wine too.
Very much a German joint, I would say.

high value franchise seafood restaurant

This is a nice place to go with fresh seafood. They usually offer a set lunch for u003eEUR 8,-- (without salad or beverage); try to avoid the "Thai Nudeln" or thai noodles which have as much to do with Thailand as Bratwurst does, you will be disappointed (aside that it was an o.k. very filling dish, although a bit expensive, I had to pay EUR 12 for a bowl of noodles with 4 shrimp). All the other dishes looked nice The food is prepared fresh in an open space kitchen, you have to order drinks from the self-service bar across from it. It was well stocked with German white wine and different types of beer. The crowd is +50 but the atmosphere is nice and the local guests (most of them are regulars) are talkative which is seldom in Hannover. The employees are very friendly too.
