We got off to a bad start because my husband got the neighbouring table‘s drink and they got his. Then we had to wait a bit for the waitress to show up to get the correct drink. We got lucky and our food came without much wait, but the neighbouring tables weren’t so Lucky. One table‘s food was cold in the middle and no apology was offered, just the waiter saying he‘d warm up the dish. The other table near us waited in vain for their food (we got there after them) and then gave up.
There was also a large group of men celebrating very loudly in the middle of the establishment, which made conversation difficult. One of the men must have worked there or was perhaps an owner because we saw him go behind the bar. If this was the case, he should have known that it’s perhaps better to celebrate with his big group of friends after closing time instead of ruining people’s evening. It was my birthday and I had wanted two friends to join us after our dinner for drinks there, but I cancelled that and we celebrated at home with them instead. My suggestion? Get better at your service and be aware of your customers’ comfort by acting professionally. One good thing to report is that we enjoyed our food so there‘s hope for this restaurant that is just around the corner from us.
