Because if I handed it back to their service workshop, I wouldn't want any new "surprises".
The photos show the condition after delivery by Christ and a closer look at the damage to the case back in my workshop.
Opening a watch without leaving a trace is the least you have to ask for as a customer!

Hatte kürzlich einen Certina-Quarzchrono für einen kleinen Service abgegeben.
Als dieser zurückkam, stellte ich fest, daß der Gehäuseboden geradezu unfachmännisch, stümperhaft geöffnet und dabei beschädigt wurde.
Man kann deutlich erkennen, daß hier ein Werkzeug völlig falsch angesetzt wurde und das Material regelrecht zusammengedrückt wurde. Dabei ist das Werkzeug wohl auch abgerutscht und hat oberflächlich auch Kratzer hinterlassen.
In meiner eigenen Werkstatt ist es mir gelungen, zumindest die ursprüngliche Rundung und Glanz des Bodens wiederherzustellen.
Denn bei einer erneuten Abgabe in deren Servicewerkstatt hätte ich keine Lust auf evtl. neue "Überraschungen".
Die Fotos zeigen den Zustand nach der Auslieferung durch Christ und eine nähere Schadensaufnahme des Gehäusebodens in meiner Werkstatt.
Das spurlose Öffnen einer Uhr ist das mindeste, was man als Kunde verlangen muss!
